***** ONLINE TAGGING SYSTEM INFO *****

Our online tagging system will allow you to login to your consignor account and
enter your tag information via an online form (description, price, donate yes/no, etc).
The system will generate tags for you to print (on white cardstock), cut out, and attach to your items.

The ONLINE TAGGING SYSTEM is easy to use
and will allow you to maintain an inventory of the items you are bringing to the sale.
You will be able to see exactly which of your items sold
and how much you've earned at the close of the sale.

PLEASE NOTEThe online tagging system will close on WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 15th at 6:00am
At that time you will NOT be able to: enter new items for tags, schedule drop-off appointments or volunteer shifts, etc.

*** You will however be able to PRINT any tags that have been entered before the system shuts off. ***

To access the online tagging system, you must be a

REGISTERED CONSIGNOR and be registered for the FALL 2010 SALE

All CLOTHING items must have a minimum price of $2.00

(you may hang or bundle more than one item together to get to the $2.00 minimum if necessary)

All OTHER ITEMS must have a minimum price of $1.00

Price in whole-dollar increments only (for example, $2.00, $3.00, $4.00 $5.00)

*** Our most successful consignors price their items "TO SELL"! ***

Ask yourself:  What would I expect to pay for this item?
Do I want to bring this back home with me unsold or do I want it "out of here"!!!

If you want the item to sell for 50% off during Saturday's 50% off sale,
check the box next to "Check To Discount"
(A  RED STAR will print above the price on discounted tags.)

(While not required, we suggest you DO include your items in the 50% off sale - if you choose not to, your items WILL still
be available for purchase (at full price) during the 50% off sale times, but shoppers will generally "shop around' full-priced items during the 50% off sale.)

If you want to DONATE the item if it doesn't sell,
check the box next to "Check To Donate"
(A "D" will print in the left-hand corner of the tag.)

All unsold items will be available for pick-up during designated "Pick-Up" hours: MONDAY, SEPT. 27th 4pm-7pm
OR if you choose, we will have representatives from local kids charities doing a pickup at the close of the sale.

**** NOTE: All items MUST be picked up during the designated pick-up time as we are required to be out of the building.
All items not picked up within the designated times become the property of The Stork Lady Kids Sale & will be donated. ***

Enter up to 2 lines of descriptions.

We highly, highly recommend that you be VERY descriptive on your tags.

Include things like color, brand & how many pieces are in the outfit

DO NOT use descriptions like:  "toy" or "clothes".

Be clear in your descriptions so that if your tag gets separated from the item, we can easily match it back up!

Include info like:  "new" or "barely used"

Mention any special features that the buyer would want to know.

**** PLEASE NOTE:  If there isn't enough room for you to type your entire description,
you can hand-write the extra notes on an index card and attach it to the item near your tag. ****

Select a SIZE from the drop-down menu

For items with a size range - round up
(ex: for 3-6 months use 6 months, 6-12 months use 12 months, 7-8 use 8)

For items sizes Small, Medium, Large, etc, use your best numeric estimate.

TO PRINT YOUR TAGS

Enter CTRL-P on your keyboard OR
at the top left in the tag window, select:  'File' then 'Print'

Tags will print 6 to a page

(Cardstock is available at Target, Wal-Mart, office supply stores, etc)

ATTACHING TAGS TO CLOTHING

Attach tags to clothing using a SAFETY PIN or TAGGING GUN

(For reasonably priced tagging guns:  Check eBay OR Store Supply Warehouse (located at Page & 170 or shop online) OR check Office Depot & OfficeMax)

*** We recommend the short 1" - 2" plastic barbs to load the tag gun. ***

Attach tag to either the garment's label in the neckline OR
to a RIGHT-hand seam (at the shoulder, neckline, under-arm,etc - on the RIGHT side of the garment).

**** PLEASE, PLEASE do NOT pin or attach directly into the clothing fabric as it often

ITEMS WITH MULTIPLE PARTS

Items to be sold together should be in a zip lock bag that is SECURELY TAPED SHUT.

Attach tag to the OUTSIDE of the zip-lock bag
so that the tag can be easily removed at check-out.
